Diana Trevino

Medical assistant

Diana Trevino began her journey with Brother Bill’s Helping Hand as an intern in October 2025 and officially joined the team as an employee on January 5, 2026. Before coming to BBHH, she worked for 10 years as a Licensed Auto Insurance Agent, building strong relationships while serving and supporting others in her community.

Diana earned her Medical Assistant Certification from PCI Health Training Center, a milestone that reflects her perseverance, determination, and commitment to personal growth.

What drew Diana to BBHH was the opportunity to serve neighbors in meaningful and hands-on ways—from supporting the clinic and community events to helping families with groceries. Seeing the gratitude and relief on people’s faces reminds her daily of the importance of compassion and the difference it can make in someone’s life.

Originally from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas, Diana moved to the Oak Cliff area of Dallas when she was 16 years old. The transition brought many challenges and unknowns, but those experiences shaped her resilience and faith. As a single mother of five children, there were many seasons when life felt overwhelming, and her focus was simply on providing for her family and continuing to move forward. Though she did not complete school in the traditional way, she never gave up on herself.

Recently, Diana earned her GED and graduated as a Medical Assistant—an accomplishment that holds deep meaning for her as a symbol of hope, perseverance, and new beginnings. Her faith has reminded her that the past does not define the future, and she hopes her story encourages others to keep believing in themselves and never stop pursuing their goals.

Outside of work, Diana’s greatest motivation is her six grandchildren. She hopes to inspire them to never give up on their dreams and to always keep striving for a better future.
