Hortencia Rodriguez
Clinic Manager
Hortencia Rodriguez originally joined Brother Bill’s Helping Hand in January 2025 as a Receptionist, she now serves as our Clinic Manager. Before joining BBHH, Hortencia worked as a Supervisor at CSL Plasma, where she gained extensive experience in daily operations, staff management and training, safety and compliance, and creating a welcoming and efficient experience for those she served.
Hortencia graduated from high school in 2010 and earned her Medical Assistant Certification in 2012. Her diverse professional experience has helped her become dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working with people from all different backgrounds.
Hortencia’s connection to BBHH is especially meaningful because her own family received food assistance from the organization during a time when they needed support. Having experienced firsthand the difference BBHH can make for a family facing difficult circumstances, she was excited by the opportunity to give back. When she saw the receptionist position available, she knew she wanted to be part of an organization that had once helped her own family. Today, she is passionate about welcoming and supporting others who may be walking through similar challenges.
Hortencia’s faith has grown through the different seasons and challenges of her life. Through those experiences, she has learned to trust God and lean on Him for strength and guidance. One verse that is especially meaningful to her is 2 Timothy 1:7, which reminds her that God has given us a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Her faith inspires her to live with compassion, serve others, and encourage those around her.
Hortencia is passionate about giving back to her community and believes that even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. She is grateful for the opportunity to use her skills, compassion, and positive attitude to help others feel welcomed, supported, and cared for at BBHH.
