Youth and Children’s Program Manager
Logan Layn joined Brother Bill’s Helping Hand in June 2026 as the Youth & Children’s Program Manager. In her role, she helps lead and develop programs that serve children and youth in the West Dallas community. Before joining BBHH, Logan worked in several nonprofit roles, spent time at Wingstop’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, and later worked as a nanny.
Logan studied Human Development and Family Science at the University of North Texas—go Mean Green! Her passion for working with children and families, combined with her desire to serve others, has continued to shape her career.
During a transitional season while working as a nanny, Logan spent time praying and discerning what the Lord had next for her. She knew her heart was being drawn back to nonprofit work. What ultimately brought her to BBHH was the organization’s commitment to serving vulnerable communities. “In the Word, we so clearly see the Father’s heart for the vulnerable and oppressed, and how much more in the person of Jesus,” Logan shares. “Jesus constantly moved toward the marginalized in society, and here at BBHH we get to be those very hands and feet of Jesus.”
Logan did not grow up in a Christian home and does not remember hearing the name of Jesus as a young child. In middle school, she began attending Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and at the end of sixth grade, she attended a worship night where she first heard the Gospel. Through the Lord’s kindness, Logan came to understand her need for a Savior, and her relationship with Christ began to transform her life. During college, her faith grew deeply through involvement in a college ministry and local church. Since then, the Lord has continued to walk with her through both joyful and difficult seasons, continually drawing her closer to Himself.
Logan is passionate about nonprofit work because she believes serving others is a tangible way to reflect the heart of Jesus. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve children and families at BBHH and to be part of the work God is doing in the community.
