Caring for Kids in Brand New Afterschool Program

This fall, our brand new afterschool program is up and running! We’re currently serving a small group of kids for our pilot launch, and aim to double our class size every semester. Ultimately, we will serve hundreds of kindergarten to 5th grade-aged kids across Dallas.

“The Brother Bill’s afterschool program offers me peace of mind knowing my child is in a safe environment, learning and being cared for,” says one parent, Theresa. “There are few after school options that work for my schedule, and I am so thankful for this one. I am able to work with this peace of mind.”

Our afterschool program has helped students understand and describe different types of emotions, read together and individually, learn foundational skills for their specific grade level, and work on STEM projects. “This program helps to accommodate my needs and schedules with work and school. I am able to complete my 40 hour work week without rushing to pick up my child. I know not only is my son in good hands, but he's also being read to and learning new things. These items may seem minuscule, but they mean the world to me,” shares Melissa, parent.
