Brother Bill’s Helping Hand Educates Students on Digital Design through Launch of New Website

DALLAS, Texas (June 13, 2019) – Brother Bill’s Helping Hand announced today the launch of its new website, which was updated by Dallas-based CONNECTIVE Agency and provided website design workshops to six local students in the process. The new website, with updated iconography and a refreshed color palette, highlights the work and mission of the faith-based nonprofit organization, which serves low-income West Dallas neighborhoods.

The six middle and high school students who attended the workshops with the creative services agency – all of whom are involved with the nonprofit’s existing programs – learned about website planning and design, conducting interviews, writing, and photography.

“It was important for us to turn this project into a learning opportunity for some of our students and CONNECTIVE Agency was the perfect partner to make this happen,” said Wes Keyes, executive director of Brother Bill’s Helping Hand. “They produced a beautiful website and the students learned so much from their team. We are so glad to have this fresh digital space for our neighbors, friends and partners.”

The website tells the story of Brother Bill’s history and vision for the future, includes stories from neighbors impacted by the organization’s dedication to the community, and offers ways for volunteers to become involved.

“One of our core values at CONNECTIVE Agency is doing good in our community, so we were

thrilled to partner with Brother Bill’s Helping Hand and support their admirable work in West

Dallas,” said Whitney McAnallen, senior director at CONNECTIVE Agency. “It was a wonderful

experience to work on this project and teach these bright students the basics of website design.”
