Carla Garcia

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Carla Garcia joined the BBHH team as a Medical Assistant in November 2022. As a MA, Carla prepares medications and injections for the Clinic Provider, draws blood, checks vitals, and administers injections herself, on occasion.

Carla graduated high school in 2020 at the peak of Covid and finding a job was extremely difficult. She assumed going to college was going to be difficult as well, until one day she decided to apply. Carla just graduated in 2023 and she believes it was the best decision she has ever made!

Carla grew up and spent most of her life in West Dallas and Oak Cliff. She was hesitant in joining the BBHH team at first, knowing it would require her to step out of her comfort zone and try something new on her own. However, she is so happy she took a leap of faith and became a part of the BBHH family.

Carla currently lives in Arlington and when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her friends, going to the gym, going for a run, or spending time with her three cats!
