Jazzmen Gracia

Medical assistant

Jazzmen Gracia joined BBHH in February 2021 as a Medical Assistant in our Community Clinic. As an MA, Jazzmen helps triage our patients by taking their vital signs and maintaining patient records. She also collects laboratory specimens and draws blood. Jazzmen serves as the right hand to our Clinic Provider and assists during medical examinations by preparing the patients and explaining the treatment and procedures.

Jazzmen grew up in West Dallas and graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School before pursuing her career and getting her Medical Assistant certification from the College of Healthcare Professions. Jazzmen was initially hired at a big hospital, but she did not feel it was what the Lord had planned for her.

After being hired at BBHH and joining the Clinic team, Jazzmen now sees them as her other family. Jazzmen is proud of the growth she has personally accomplished since being a part of the BBHH family, as well as the help and healthcare we are able to provide to all our neighbors. Jazzmen feels a close connection to BBHH. When she was a child, her family would receive food when they were in need; she even remembers receiving her first bike during one of the BBHH Christmas events. Jazzmen feels so grateful and blessed that the Lord guided her to this amazing organization.
