Russ Brown
Russ is an attorney and the Managing Partner of Brown Fox, which has offices in Dallas and Frisco. While Russ primarily is a labor & employment attorney, he leads a team of lawyers with a wide range of expertise, including business litigation, corporate/transactional needs, mergers & acquisitions, intellectual property, and real estate.
Russ started his law firm in 2010 with a vision to create a business model to serve clients better, but more importantly to add margin to serve as a follower of Christ within the legal practice. This path has included leading Dallas Justice (a local lawyers’ ministry), teaching and mentoring Christian lawyers in Dallas and internationally in India, DR Congo, Kenya, and El Salvador. He and his wife, Renee, chaired fundraisers for International Justice Mission (2016) and Advocates for Community Transformation (2019). This year, Russ completed his final term as a Trustee for Providence Christian School of Texas.
Russ graduated from the University of Arizona where he was a baseball letterman. He coached high school baseball before attending St. Mary’s School of Law.
Russ and Renee are members of Watermark Community Church and live in Dallas with their three children and family dog. Russ’s favorite things to do include fly fishing, international travel, coaching, ministry, and spending time with his family, whether on the back porch in Dallas or Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
